Your documents

The Inkveil app processes your PDFs only on your computer. Documents, their text and the redactions are never uploaded. The app needs no internet connection and checks licence keys offline.

If you close the app in the middle of a review, the unfinished review is kept in your own Windows user folder so you can continue. It is deleted once the file is redacted or removed from the list, and anything older than 30 days is cleared.

This website

• When you buy: your email, the recipient's email and message for gifts, the order details and the IP address the order came from — to deliver keys, prevent fraud and handle refunds.
• When you start a trial: your email, to issue one trial key per address.
• Downloads are counted without recording who downloaded.

Who else sees it

PayPal processes payments; card details never reach us. Our email provider delivers keys and reminders. Nobody else receives your data and it is never sold. The site sets no tracking cookies; PayPal's checkout may set its own.

Deleting your data

Email support and we'll delete your order records, except payment records we must keep by law.
